- Puncture Repair Kits & Levers
- Dont venture out with out a trusty puncture repair kit, levers and spare tubes. Many riders assume they wont puncture more than once in a ride but it does occasionally happen. Also be aware that a ripped tyre can often be patched up to get you home using an appropriate kit.

- Great deals on packs of inner tubes to be had online. Tubes vary in terms of size, lightness, puncture resistance, valve length and type so make sure you buy the right one for your wheel and tyre size and also intended use, ie race or leisure.

- Tubular Tyres - Road
- Tubular tyres have the inner tube sewn in and are mounted with glue on tubular-specific rims. Sizing is subtly different to clincher wheels and a bit confusing as most manufacturers still quote the old imperial sizes on tubes. However there are only 2 real sizes: 26" is the same as 650c. 27", 28" and 700c are all the same size!
