- Brake Cables

- Disc Brakes
- Before choosing a disc brake, you must work out what mounting system you will require to work with your front forks. Most forks are fitted with International Standard mounts but all Manitou forks use their own system. Some brake calipers fit directly onto a Manitou system whereas others require an adapter. All rear mounts are International Standard. Most disc rotors fit to the wheel with a six-bolt International Standard pattern so make sure your hubs have the required bolt holes.

- Recommended - Hope Mono M4 2007 With F Disc And Braided Hose
- Hope's Multi-Pot M4 also got a makeover recently, boosting power and reducing fitting faff on this already popular and eye-catching brake. Power is average for the rotor size but the twin piston design applies that power very progressively. This means it'll cope with the most treacherous low traction situations and subtle braking ballet superbly.
